Molly Lanzarotta won the London Independent Story Prize for flash fiction in 2024. She won second prize for the The Moth Nature Writing Prize in 2023 and has been a finalist for other awards including the Joy Harjo Prize in Poetry, the New Millennium Writing Award, and the Lascaux Prize in Poetry.

Her short stories, flash fiction, and poems have appeared or are forthcoming in publications including  The Irish Times, The Rumpus, Crosswinds Poetry Journal, Gyroscope, descant, FlashFlood, About Place Journal, Terrain, The Vestal Review, Cimarron Review, Carolina Quarterly, Southeast Review; in anthologies including the Bath Flash Fiction anthology Snow Crow; and in the book What If?
